Remembrance

Remembering the Fallen

At BCS we feel it is incredibly important to mark Remembrance Day and pass on to the generations, the importance of remembering those who gave their lives for us.

We did not have our normal Remembrance Service in the Gothic Hall as a precaution in the current climate, but Mr Buckley put together a service which the students all watched in their tutor groups.  This can be viewed via the following link:

Thank you to sixth formers Zoe Taylor and Maddie King for their readings and to Priya Seward for playing the Last Post so beautifully.

The Sixth Formers had a small service in their garden where a wreath has been laid from the Governors, Staff and Students and a wreath from BCS will also be laid at the war memorial on Sunday.

As always we particularly remember former student Royal Marine Scott Gregory Taylor, who lost his life serving in Afghanistan aged just 21.
