New York 2017
Geography trip to New York
The Geography department led a 6 day, 5 night trip to New York in the Easter Holidays 2017 taking 44 sixth form students, accompanied by 5 staff. The trip was phenomenal and students got to experience a wide range of sights and activities such as Times Square, boating in Central Park, viewing New York at night from the top of the Rockefeller centre; visiting the natural history museum and the 9/11 memorial and museum. Students also took the ferry to the statue of liberty and Elis Island. The highlight of the trip for many was a guided tour around the United Nations headquarters. It was a fantastic trip to the Big Apple and a wonderful experience for all involved.
