Curriculum Support Technician – Design Technology

We are looking to recruit an energetic, enthusiastic and well-motivated Curriculum Support Technician to join our Design Technology department.

You will be required to fulfil the following duties:

• Provide technician support for Design Technology
• Contribute to the efficient operation of the Design Technology Department by performing installation, maintenance and routine tasks as required, including timber based machinery and construction materials.
• To support students' work, as required, by providing technical support, advice and help or by supervising individual students.

In addition to possessing excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills, you must be able to prioritise, remain calm under pressure and show initiative.

Candidates must also be team players and demonstrate a professional approach when dealing with students and staff.

Actual Salary:   £7,626 pa

Grade:    Grade 6

Hours:     15 hours per week, days to be agreed with the department

Weeks:  39 weeks pa

Contract Type:   Permanent

Start date:  Immediate
