French Students visit Buxton Community School
Twelve French teenagers visited our school on Tuesday morning to carry out linguistic activities with a selection of our Year 9 students.
Using the French our students have learned so far, they we able to practise communicating with native French speakers from their own peer group.
The students were paired off over break and period three with an English 'buddy' so they could see just how lessons worked in an English school and were able to discuss the differences between school life in France and England.
The morning was finished with lunch in the school canteen - a roast turkey dinner was the dish of the day - what better way to sample traditional British food!
