Lockdown evening meal
Y8 student Pearle delights family with their evening meal
Pearle's mum reports that Pearle was keen to cook for the family, so mum suggested that she choose something from the lockdown challenge. She chose from the herbs and spices option and made rice noodles with vegetable stir fry; seasoned with paprika, cumin, dried herbs, soy sauce, fresh ginger and fresh garlic. Pearle served it with crispy kale that had been roasted in the oven with oil, sea salt and sugar.
The end result was delicious! As an independent chef the only help she had was mum lighting the cooker.
