On the 15th November, Oliver, Abi and Luke went to Manchester Metropolitan University to represent the school at the annual Geographical Association WorldWise Quiz.

This quiz sees schools from across the North West area face a series of challenging questions to see who can be crowned the winners so before selecting our team, we challenged every Year 10 geographer to a series of questions to decide who our team would be.

On the evening, they impressed with their geographical knowledge and understanding coupled with their ability to apply logic and reasoning to questions with great success.

The team came an impressive 2nd overall beating off stiff competition from 15 state and private schools in the North West.

We are hugely proud of them and look forward to next year. Well done team BCS!
