Message from our CEO Matt Crawford
I would like to extend a warm welcome to Embark Federation. We are a family of 19 schools across Derbyshire who believe that by working together as a team we can create schools that ‘stand out’ at the heart of their communities.
I am exceptionally proud to lead such an incredible team. There is outstanding practice across our schools and we are always looking for opportunities to share that with each other and beyond.
We have 4 core beliefs; Family, Integrity, Teamwork and Success that are central to everything that we do. We have high standards across our schools but want to ensure that the Primary school experience for our children is a magical time. We have created the Embark Award which is part of our commitment to the wider offer for our children.
We also aim to be the employer of choice. We want our staff development to be first class and this forms part of our central offer. We want to help staff that are ambitious and grow their careers to be able to achieve all their hopes and dreams at Embark. We are also committed to staff workload and well-being and were selected for a National Case Study in 2017 to share our practice around this key issue.
