Buxton Community School celebrates A-level success

There was plenty of excitement at Buxton Community School as students collected their A-level results, marking the culmination of years of hard work, dedication and determination.

Students were celebrating their achievements and looking ahead to the next chapter, with destinations including universities across the country and a wide range of courses and career paths.

Among the cohort are students hoping to become teachers, opticians and vets, with many preparing to continue their studies in their chosen fields.

For many, results day marked the start of an exciting new journey, with years of study and preparation paying off as they secured places on their chosen courses and pathways.

Head of Sixth Form Jackie Cruse said: “Year on year, we enjoy real academic and personal success, and this year’s cohort have contributed further to our fantastic record.

“We wish them well in whatever they do. We have students going all over the country to study a range of different university courses.

“We will miss them, but we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved and wish them every success for the future.”

The results are a reflection not only of the students’ commitment but also of the support they have received from teachers, staff, families and the wider school community throughout their sixth-form studies.
