Staff -v- students basketball game raises money for Children in Need
Staff -v- students basketball game a great success!
On Friday 16th November 2018, staff and students from took part in a charity basketball game organised by members of the prefect team in order to raise money for Children In Need.
The event gained plenty of support, both from players and spectators. This enjoyable event helped the school to raise over £1,000 in total for the charity.
In terms of results, it was the students who were victorious on the day, beating the staff with a score of 18 to 11 respectively, even after some questionable tactical decisions from both teams. The event was enjoyed by all who attended, though perhaps more so by the year 11 students, who, to quote one member of their team “absolutely smashed them.”
