Valentine's Cards in aid of the Turkish earthquake
Valentines cards to raise money for the earthquake disaster.
Sixth form students set up a stall in the lower atrium to sell valentines cards for 50p, or a donation, to raise money for the victims of the tragic earthquake that has devastated Turkey. The cards actual read 'I Appreciate You' and were sent not just as a romantic gesture but as a mark of thanks. The sixth formers sold the cards on Monday 13th and on the morning of Tuesday 14th. They then delivered them on Tuesday afternoon. It was a lovely event and card recipients were thrilled! Ms Cruse was really pleased that £312.77 was raised.
Huge thanks to Ms Cruse and her wonderful sixth form helpers for raising awareness and funds, and providing us all with the opportunity to send appreciation to our peers and colleagues.
