World Daily Mile
World Daily Mile Challenge
On Friday 28th April, approximately 60 Key Stage 3 students participated in the World Daily Mile during registration. The aim of The Daily Mile is to improve the physical, social, emotional and mental health and well-being of our children – regardless of age, ability or personal circumstances. Students were invited to run, jog or walk the mile.
The overall winners were Matty coming in at 5.45 and Rebecca at 6.45. Second and third boys were close with Will pipping Oliver at the post with 6.43 and 6.44. Year group winners were Nathaniel & Elin for Year 7; Matty and Skye for Year 8; Callum and Rebecca for Year 10 and Esther for Year 12. Well done to everyone who took part.
