A Level Results 2019

2019 Results Day

As always, we are delighted with our Sixth Form students and are once again, pleased to be celebrating some incredible A-level results which reflect the dedication and drive we expect at BCS.

Our students are obviously taught really well but it is the time and care we put into developing their confidence and encouraging them to take risks and think big that has enabled them to secure some fantastic grades and university places.

This year more than ever we have students starting some really exciting adventures; Sid is going to study business in Amsterdam; Tilly is off to read economics in Toronto; Kezia and Eliott will be reading biochemistry and history respectively at colleges at Oxford University; Josh is embarking on a prestigious aeronautical degree apprenticeship with Airbus down in Wales and Alex is off to London to study at the British School of Osteopathy.

There were some outstanding individual performances including the following students who reached the exceptional standard of 3 top grades between A* and B at A-level:

  • Hannah Baker ABB
  • Jack Borrill 3A
  • Amy Eltringham A* BB
  • Caitlin Forbes ABB
