As a Local Authority Maintained School the application process for Buxton Community School is operated by Derbyshire Local Authority. Parents are required to nominate a first, second and third choice of school, and may apply online (www.derbyshire.gov.uk/admissions), the link is below, or by calling 01629 533190. Applications must be made by midnight on the 31st October.

Finding out where a child has been allocated a place
Traditionally allocation information is sent to parents by Derbyshire Local Authority at the start of March, in the spring term of Year 6.
